The Hampton Park Baptist Church children’s ministry exists to glorify God in the church by providing purposeful, Christ-centered instruction for the formative years of a child’s life. Life by the book begins in the cradle and continues throughout life. We labor to evangelize and disciple children through intentional instruction and prayer. We seek to raise believing children by introducing them to Jesus at the earliest age possible, and we cultivate a learning atmosphere by teaching core Christian doctrine and encouraging Scripture memory. The goal of the children’s ministry is to develop God-loving and people-loving children whose lives have been transformed by the gospel and whose lives are growing in gospel-centered thinking and living. We are dedicated to worship as the central role in a child’s life, because all that we do should center around Jesus Christ and His glory. The church’s discipleship of children should result in young lives that are vitally involved in their local churches and involved in spreading the gospel to their community (witnessing).
