The Hampton Park Student Ministries vision is to see young adults become passionate followers of Jesus.
Our mission is to partner with and equip parents in the making and maturing of their young adults into devoted disciples of Jesus Christ by the power of the gospel and the Spirit, and for the glory of God in the church and among the nations. To that end, we desire to lead students to be and to do what the New Testament reflects that the early church was and did, embracing Life by the Book.

Here are three items I want to briefly highlight:
1) This Wednesday is the last day to register for the winter retreat. You can register here.
2) There is a Teen Meeting tonight. The Teen Room will open at 5:00pm and we will begin at 5:30pm.
3) The Super Bowl tonight provides several unique opportunities for us as parents. Walt Mueller, from the Center for Parent Youth Understanding (CPYU), has some helpful thoughts on how we, as parents, can leverage something like the advertisements during the game as opportunities for discipling our kids. He says, "Marketing's greatest power is not to sell product. Marketing's greatest power is in it's ability to shape worldviews. In other words, it is catechizing our kids into holding life-long beliefs about identity, purpose, and faith." Today we have an opportunity to help our kids think Christianly as they are being preached to through the media of advertisement. Walt has several helpful tools for us in this. You can find the resources and read his very helpful blog here.
Because of His grace,
